Solar power is free energy from the sun

Solar power is converting the suns light into electricity with solar cells. Sunlight can be converted to electricity using photovoltaics.

Photovoltaics are used to power small and medium-sized applications: a calculator or watch powered by a single solar cell.

Solar electricity has great potential, but in 2008 supplied less than 0.02% of the world's total energy supply. There are many competing technologies, including fourteen types of photovoltaic cells, such as thin film, monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, and amorphous cells. It is too early to know which technology will become dominant.

This is a great pack. I use it for college and now I don't have to worry about if my ipod, cell phone is charge or try to find the adapter or an outlet. Just plug it into the pack and go.
